For the first time ever, the Young Author's Club would be launching its audio books, adapted from stories written by 9 to 12 year olds. Be enchanted by the story of how the durian became the king of fruits, be touched by the tale of how a 10-year-old who has been bullied learns courage when she helps her bully, and be mesmerized by the tale of a child-servant in the 1920s. These and other stories are brought to life through the voices of 13 and 14 year olds from the N6 Cluster of schools.
There's also a storywriting competition to round up the event. Write a spell-binding story in 300 words and you could be the grand winner of a scholarship to the Young Author's Scheme worth $880! Plus book prizes as well!
Note: Book Launch is a private event. The storywriting competition is open to all children from 9 to 12 years old.
